According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavaliers and Celtics have finalized the deal that would send Kyrie Irving to Boston for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and Brooklyn’s 2018 first-round pick. The deal was agreed upon last Tuesday, but due to some concerns with Thomas’ physical(hip), the Celtics added a second-round pick in 2020, according to the report.
Thomas told ESPN on Tuesday: “I am not damaged. I’ll be back, and I’ll be the same player.”
This is a good deal for both teams. Hopefully, they will meet in the Eastern Conference Finals next season.
Cleveland, Boston have reached an agreement, league source tells ESPN.
